The speaker has one full range fostex drive unit and is a different loudspeaker to the one that's in the current range, which indeed
is a two way. Eric doesn't make full rangers anymore but still specialises in high sensitivity speakers.

Mono loudspeaker! Yes indeed.

Musical enjoyment has nothing to do with how many boxes you have. The Hi-fi industry exploits the unconscious.

Power amps of course you can have mono, pre amps apart from antiques no monos, just use one side is the obvious option.

I Foresee a problem , if you use one channel you will lose all information on the other channel.

Having considered it further , one speaker & mono is a ludicrous idea

even if you are deaf in one ear , turn your head to the side .

Let me clarify.
Both channels of the stereo amplifier are going into the single speaker
