I forgot to mention I put the JBL 1's back in the system when there was only me at home and was able to turn the volume up a bit: I enjoyed listening to them, detailed and quite punchy, unfortunately this was above my normal listening levels so I guess they are now surplus to requirements

Not heard of a vibrating DAC before. Does it get hot?

Does it vibrate when the speakers are not playing?

Strange, is it getting hot and can you hear any buzzing from the case? My D30 runs fairly cool and there is no internal transformer as the PSU is external.

Are you using a BMU or LPSU?

Same with my E30 which is on top of the P20, on top of the A20. The PS is a power bank.

No, the dac is not getting hot and it does have an external power supply, I'm using one of those iFi power supplies: I can also feel a vibration from the volume control and facia on the amplifier but I assumed it is to do with the valves: The Topping is sited next to the amplifier but it has nothing to do with transmission between the two: Could it be something to do with the electricity supply, I was thinking about buying one of these https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4001234 ... 2e0eCkhmCS
or https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001 ... 2e0eCkhmCS
and have looked at this one as well https://www.hifi-amplifiers.com/en/gw-p ... -5104.html
Just seen this one as well https://www.hifi-amplifiers.com/en/gw-p ... -5176.html
I have just uplugged the dac and can still feel a slight vibration

Then the vibration isn't caused by the dac?

Earthing problem in your mains, perhaps?

To be honest, electricity supply is not my strongest subject, so I will ask someone later today regarding earthing
