I shall be dragging my EBow out of retirement no doubt.

I've not tried Ableton but as far as I am concerned you are speaking a language I understand.
Sounds like somebody buggered about with a Rickenbacker. Some models had what was called a "Rick-O- Sound" jack, plus a standard jack side-by-side. The Rick-O-Sound jack required a stereo cable.Geoff.R.G wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 10:27 am ...A little research revealed that a particular brand of guitar was wired differently and would need a specially wired cable. Someone at his college had replaced the socket as I understood it.
Always fun working with musicians, most are great and one can learn a lot, some know it all (at the age of 20).
Strangely enough I made up a stereo lead in case we ever had the same problem again.slinger wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 3:26 pmSounds like somebody buggered about with a Rickenbacker. If you think you know it all you're actually proving that you know bugger-all.
I've got a "Snakebite," myself. It's a lot of pedal for not a lot of money. I've got a couple of their CP-05 Power supplies too.Copperblue wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 7:23 pm I have been pleasantly surprised by the sound of Caline pedals - especially the Blue Sky overdrive and Snake Bite reverb. Low cost , excellent sound and great value.
I will check them out, but very happy with the two Caline pedals. I will be trying them out in a rehearsal / recoding effort this coming weekend, playing live and recording then seeing what happens, like real musicians used to......slinger wrote: ↑Tue May 04, 2021 8:14 pmI've got a "Snakebite," myself. I've just had a look at their website and was surprised by the sheer amount of pedals that they make. http://www.calinemusic.com/a/chanpin/shejijianzhu/
Cuvave (not Covfefe) are getting quite a good reputation too, in the same sort of low-priced arena.
