A belated but sincere happy birthday. I am sorry I missed it yesterday but I am not on here as often as I used to be. Your Swedish whisky is certainly a new one on me.

Thanks Paul. The 'Svenska Ek' (Swedish Oak) is an interesting tipple with a unique character and pleasantly smooth.

Goes down a treat! :orcs-cheers:

Thanks Stu!

Bottle is still half-full. I can't take any risks with falling down and getting the shoulder out of joint again.

Had a friend over yesterday who is a big whisky fan, he loved the Svenska Ek and we had a couple of glasses.
However this is a work weekend and we have a 2-day vocal/choral workshop (great fun and nice folks) which means I have to stay fairly alert whilst working a 16-hour shift. So. No whisky today and the bottle is still about 1/3 full.
Actually I treat a good dram with more respect and a quality over quantity approach - a bottle of Jameson, for example, does empty itself a lot quicker.
