Really not worth bothering with. Or the singles with the disco group.
Surely you have 'Music For Supermarkets' as well. ??

No I haven't.

In a long-ago discussion with the late poster (on AOS and others) DaveK, I stated that I thought JMJ's music a bit 'twee' in comparison with his 'Berlin School' counterparts. A topic for another thread, but I'm hearing more wonderful musical stuff in mixes I thought I knew well these days.

Like many other 'serious' music fans I stopped bothering with JMJ after 'Rendezvous', thinking that he was getting too lightweight.

Revisiting the back catalogue has revealed much to enjoy. Lots of subtle detail in the arrangements and effects. The newest remaster series is very good (the earlier versions could sound a bit tinny). The Houston concert is very powerful but Docklands remains a bit of a clunker.

Try some of the later albums like Sessions 2000 or the Electronica collaborations.

Nope - its all junk after Zoolook. He was always lightweight - as was Kitaro.

Admirers of Greek synth maestro Vangelis should check out his NEW and mind-shatteringly brilliant album 'Rosetta'. A return to the style of his classic early records 'Spiral' and 'Albedo 0.39', with the grace and experience of all he has done in between.

'Oxygene 3' has arrived !

Ancient analogue synths from the dawn of time creaking and bleeping like it wasn't 40 (!) years since the original.

Oh yeah ! :music-rockon:
