In terms of Gove/Boron et al hiding behind Covid when our economy tanks, surely even the dumbest of Brexiteers must have noticed that Covid is not exclusively a British problem and that all economies are going to be affected by it.

Those that do better just have better governments and infrastructure.

I really dislike the whole idea of Beethoven's work being turned into a political anthem. I suspect he wouldn't be terribly happy either.
