Supplied direct from amp so in theory they are full range I suppose- I will have doc modded 12” drivers or try my own dope!

Latteman wrote: Thu Feb 07, 2019 7:54 pm Hi again, I’m just about to install a set of doc modded 8” drivers, I would like some advice on the appropriate approach- I have been testing the wiring of each 8” plus a tweeter (cap only)- i can do it parallel at a total 8ohmn load max or in series at 16ohmn max, is there a preference you recommended using an A20,
I have a separate A20 directly feeding 10” Fane drivers rated at 16ohmn each so thought to match the diy cubes to these?
Cheers
Your post makes no sense, if I read right tell me how you can put a capacitor protected tweeter in series with a bass /mid.

Yep, apologies- i suppose that is my lack of understanding and misuse of jargon- I have decided to play safe and run parallel- I was worried about the 10” Fanes rated at 16ohms going up against the cubes at 8 ohms
I do have a very simple crossover from the 3 way Pavanes I could use instead- this sounds best at the moment

Lack of knowledge. DC resistance of the coil which is all you are quoting is pretty meaningless apart from whether the amp drives current more than voltage or v versa.

This is incredibly basic watch what you are doing.
