Try and find the Expanse. Probably the best hard SF I have seen on film or TV.

Tho books are a good read too - the 'Leviathan' series by James Corey.

I'm quite enjoying The 100 for the opposite reason to The Expanse. The fun of the 100 is watching just how big a hole they can dig themselves in 12 episodes, and just how big a bang they can make in episode 13.
Still working through the last season of the Expanse.
In terms of old sci fi I have a soft spot for Space Above and Beyond. B5 remains a firm favorite, and BSG 2003 was mostly good, just re watched it, and I kind of like the last season this time around - though WTF with Kara Thrace?

I enjoyed The Icebreaker movie. Great concept and a bit weird.

Farscape - I've got the whole thing on Blu-ray waiting to be rewatched. It was an Australian/American show, produced by The Jim Henson Company, so yes, one of the lead characters was a puppet. The story arc was pretty good, and if you can forgive the puppetry you'll be rewarded with...
Gigi Edgley
Tammy MacIntosh
Virginia Hey
And possibly my favourite sci-fi series girl of all time (she was in Stargate too, where she was even sexier) Claudia Black.

For anyone still in any doubt, yes, I am a bit of a hi-fi sci-fi nut.

I'll plead guilty to that as well.

Ah yes, Claudia Black. She could really fill a pair of leather trousers.
