My wife decided on the latest Amazon Fire as she is not put out by the app restrictions. Should mine give up the ghost I will be looking at a Sansum or Lenovo.

My Amazon Fire is on its last legs so I had to take the plunge. Would have bought another Fire as it has given me good service for many years but for Amazon's policy of blocking apps from competitors,. Decided on the Lenovo 10 based on advice here and favourable reviews.
Took a while to get my head round it as it is so different to the Fire and provides more. Finally got there and am pleased with the purchase.

I like my Lenovo Think Pad, it's most probably on it's last legs, but have already snapped up another one on ebay for a bargain price.

I bought a Fire HD 8 to replace a
getting-a-bit-past-it Kindle. £40 cheaper than a boggo Kindle Paperwhite, bigger (colour) display, four times the memory, and even better I got it twenty quid off and had a sixty-quid Amazon token to spend.
Top Tip: Need a new Kindle? Buy a Fire HD 8.
