Unless that's a tongue-in-cheek question, she called an election 3 years early (having said she wouldn't), then despite starting with a 20% lead in the polls, ran a disastrous campaign, lost her absolute majority and now must rely on some nutters in Northern Ireland to keep her government in power.

You missed ...and cost the tax-payer £130 Million for doing all that.

Given the suspension of the northern Ireland power share parliament sien finn are hardly going to let dup run Ireland via proxy from Westminster. O dear Teresa may well end the n.I. peace agreement.

John Major refused to do deals with the DUP when his government was weak...for just that reason.

The current Irish Taoiseach recons the opposite. He thinks it will force Sinn Fein to back down and get power sharing up and running again..

This election reverted back to the days when 9 out of 10 votes cast went to the 2 main parties. That seems to take us even further away from a change to the voting system.

The Don't Vote Party do need a new leader, though...we've just seen the highest GE turnout since 1997. In fact, the DVP been in decline since the heady days of 2001.

I'd like to see a change to the voting system, too, but not seeing the circumstances to make it happen.
