I have abandoned the idea of putting anything "squishy" under my metal Cubix stands. I will revisit the principle of this form of isolation some time in March but when I do it will be to try the squishy principle between the top of my stand and the base of my Cubix.

Bought a set of the mini-pucks to go under our mini-Klipsch. We are going to be demonstrating the starter bundle (P50, S80 cables) as a table-top system at shows, so was looking for something to isolate them. A much bigger improvement on the previous hard rubber feet than I had expected. I also ordered a set of washing machine cups, to compare...they arrive next week.
How do the washing machine cups compare with the mini-pucks?

Better than the hard rubber studs but not nearly as good as the iso pucks ..

Is "finishing" the project a realistic expectation? I'd rather assumed they were a bit like Concorde, an experiment in service.

I don't know what to say about that Stu, maybe just go for one of them, let's say the 10" version
