Don't ever put in a disc with one of those green rubber disc dampers on it that they were selling a few years ago (and the FFFFing magazines recommended). One has buggered my TFS optical drive :cry: :cry:

This is your opportunity to remove the drive and have a TFS that is completely silent in operation. Every cloud...

Any more thoughts on a TFS 'transport only' unit ?


Ahhh -who put that Avatar there ? What's this a default one for those without ?

Hopefully it arrived in one piece. I'm always nervous posting 20kg of hifi...
Ali, I forgot to mention that while your TFS is a demo unit, the PSU that I sent you is new and unused except for when I tested it so it will need a little time to warm up and settle in.

Well I now have the TFS playing. I will post my impressions in more detail once I've had a couple of days to listen, but immediate impressions- holy shit!! :dance:

Good stuff - but that PSU will take two to three weeks to fully run in - so you ain't heard nuffin yet.
