Running in amps

Unread post by zebbo »

Morning Richard
I'll soon be taking delivery of a pair of your Mk1 A80s :D . Quick question: When it comes to running them in does the volume make a difference, ie, will it run-in quicker at a higher volume, or is it just simply having a music signal running through it that does the job even at a low volume? Cheers.
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Benz Micro Gullwing SLR, Phono 2, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)

It is just simply leaving them on. Passive things like speakers and cables need music.
