I have the opportunity to purchase a pair of Vienna Acoustics Beethoven speakers for £600 I told the chap I would give him an answer tonight.
I know they are 91db but what do they sound like?
Are they slow and ploddy or are they open , fast and dynamic.
I guess if I do go for them and don't like them I can always sell them on....

They sound like a bargain, but then one man's meat.............

Anyone else with some advice, I have read some very glowing reports but my concern is being a four driver speaker it may not by the fastest and well timed speaker around, which may bore me to tears...

I heard a pair of big and expensive Vienna Acoustics speakers at a Show a few years back - I can't remember the model. Pleasant enough and they did dynamic scale quite well, but not the most exciting or involving sound around. I suspect they favour a mid to rear hall perspective on the music. Which is fine if that is where you like to sit!

Yes, but you're just guessing! If they are at a bargain price just buy em, try em, (in your acoustic environment and your amps), and if yo don't like em, flog em!

Do a "Jerry" and don't be afraid, it is all part of the fun.
