I'm trying to make two separate purchases on eBay, I want to use my Visa Debit card to pay for the items but I cant for the life of me find where/how I can do this.
One product is a shop where I am wanting to buy a Hoover and the other is a pair of speaker cones from a private seller.
I have been sending messages to both sellers for two days with no response.?

I can't see a private seller taking Visa somehow. You will have use paypal, what's the problem,it doesn't cost you anything to buy with it.They only sting you when you sell..

if the goods cost in excess of £100 you lose any protection the sale of goods act (i think) accords via payment with a credit card and you are left to paypal to sort it out.

once you make contact you can discuss other payment methods ie cash, bank transfer. ebay don't like this though because they lose their cut of the money in paypal.
