Some sort of bizarre desire to have some sort of bizarre on-line peculiar relationship with me. And when I told her (politely for me) to sod off, then all hell let loose.

I haven't seen the A60 or even the A70's sold, so with female logic she is probably using them again.

I'm in no hurry.. I haven't sold the Quads yet that's why I'm on a limited budget. If they go I'll get a new set of 40s. If I'm lucky, someone might just get the bug and upgrade his / her 40's mk2 for a bigger pair ... who knows

To be truthful I have just been too bloody lazy to list them. I have A80's with SAvc but I am using those at the moment.

OK, nothing urgent. Just thinking about an upgrade of the 2nd system in my partner's home. At present I have a small AP20 (mk1, all acrylic) which drives the Royd Doublet. I think that I could bi-amp them by sending the AP20 to the tweeters and an AP70/AP60 to the woofers. Clearly I will have to split the output from the stepped volume (a diy version) of my AP20 to another couple of female RCA pins on the rear panel. Well, a little diy/upgrade project.
