Yes that's correct, seems I may have misunderstood this bi amping thing.
Can anyone suggest an AV amp to run alongside my stereo amp?
Has anyone used the 4 core Van Damme cable?
Thanks very much
Ian

Re: Hello and AMP advice
Ian - this is the one I have;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Yamaha-DSP-E8 ... 2ec6c04b58
I used it with my NVA system a few years ago: it powers the rear two, centre and subwoofer channels, and takes a feed from the main system for the 2 front channels, thereby keeping the AV/Music systems separate. Its a great bit of kit, but I only ever used it in 4:0 set-up. I've never been much on cinema systems so have reverted back to standard stereo.
If you're interested, drop me a PM.

Re: Hello and AMP advice
I've also got a Yamaha amp that I'm very pleased with. One of these in fact.
It's a good solid amp with plenty of useful features, it was easy to set up, and is quite well "future proofed" too.
