Is this a definite event then? Do we have a date for it yet?

I probably won't bring the Bozaks though. I could bring my kitchen speakers and a few other bits and bobs and maybe my tape machine if anyone's interested.

I want the room for my test out to people of these new powered speakers. As Macca says the room has a divider so half can be for other things. So the more the merrier, BUT the thing people want to hear are your big bugger speakers, lots of new people since the London Bake Off Show. I hope Macca will bring his Akai's to bake off with them. Making that the big bastard speaker room. It makes me wish I had bought the Magisters the other day. Though we would have to take it in turns due to noise pollution.

I doubt the akai's will give the Bozak any cause for concern but I only know the Bozak by reputation. I wouldn't be surprised to find they had a similar character though.

My kitchen speakers will go into a corner and sulk now, wishing they were as in-demand as the Bozaks. :teasing-lurk:

Here are some pictures of the room. This is the upstairs but the downstairs is identical. The wooden wall in the second picture is the room divider. This can be opened to double the space but I am not sure we will be able to do it on the day so we may have to specify open or closed. I have requested a floor plan. Also inquired as to the café being open for us and what they will serve beyond tea and coffee.

If we have the room divided can we use both halves like two rooms.

I'll ask. It doesn't seem to me that they are at all expecting to rent any of this at the time we want it. They don't want a deposit we just have to pay the week before, so I suspect if we wanted we could have the whole building for not much more. That would be getting on for a mini-Scalford type thing though so I'm feeling that would be a little ambitious.
