Found this on ebay, from Germany, price 359€:

In last pic, under RCA connectors, there is some plugged hole and two smaller holes on both sides. Is it supposed to be like that?

This amp is nearly 25 years old, I would not pay that much for it. The holes are fine, it was an alteration we did to earlier amps, so as I say this amp is from about 1990.

Early NVA power amps had a DIN socket that provided power to the phono stage in the pre-amps, an external PSU was an optional upgrade. The covered hole looks to be where that socket would have been placed.

My A40 stereo amp still has the same DIN socket and I got the PSU to run my P80 preamp.

I don't know when it happened in NVA's history, but the amp boards are very different from the originals now and don't seem to have any temperament that I've noticed (the AP70 I finished off runs at a slightly higher voltage than the lower models but even then, there's huge headroom on the transistors and supply caps used).
