Anyone still remember these? They sound fairly good actually.

How did you find them, Richard?

Hi-Fi mate, disjointed, like a musical mosaic, didn't really hang together is the only way I can explain it. The stepped baffle concept never worked for me, and the ribbon didn't integrate properly.

Designed for people who wanted to be *impressed*.

Fair enough, Richard.

I wonder what amps SD used?

It has always been my opinion that music should be seamless and the speaker should disappear. They appeared when the home PA concept was fashionable, powered by Naim amps, which was almost the opposite to what I wanted. If you didn't work with Naim amps back then then you didn't sell enough to be viable, which is why so many British companies, including these people went bust, as they just couldn't compete with the bullshit and claptrap coming out of Glasgow and Salisbury.

Nope never heard em Shane, but they remind me somewhat of Vandersteen speakers.
I remember they had a bit of a cult following many moons ago and by all account were rather good.
