Sorry mate as I have said before I am an entrenched bah humbug! type of bloke. Now if we were celebrating the mid winter solstice which is what xmas really is then I would be a little more keen on it. But in reality it is all pure hypocrisy 1/ it has nothing to do with "Christ mass" and the mans birth. That has been proved to be sometime in the Summer. When Christianity was trying to subvert the pagan (so called) religions they hijacked all the quarter day celebrations apart from the mid summer solstice. 2/ it has now been hijacked by the new religion of consumerism.
Nadia feels the same apart from it is a time to eat a lot and get pissed a lot, as was the original pagan version

We don't even exchange presents, as it is daft, I never get her what she wants and visa versa. So it is mostly bad TV with the occasional new film. A nice roast on the day, this year ribs of beef. For Nadia it is odd anyway as Christmas and New Year in Russia are a couple of weeks after our one, so she sees here friends and we socialise then. For me, I work, I spend Christmas day like any other day, building and repairing hi-fi.
