Sorry it is serious entertainment for a lot of people. I do dip in and out of it but it is more about personalities than dancing in the end. Even if it's mind numbing for a lot of people (which is understandable) others enjoy it. Mind numbing and pointless boring would be Big Brother and the like. It's not meant to be 'serious' just an entertainment and probably helps keep the licence fee down.

I'd rather sandpaper my own eyeballs, and that goes for I Actually Think I'm Still a Celebrity, and all shows of that ilk. Good luck to those who want to watch them, just don't try and convince me they're worth so much as a nanosecond of my time. Please note that the above also applies to soap operas.
Amps - NVA P50, AP30, A40, Stanislav Palo Tube Headphone Amp BB 85
Speakers - Monitor Audio Silver RX2
Cables - NVA LS1+LS3, SSC, Gotham S/PDIF, IBRA Optical
Digital - NAD C516BEE, SONY ST-SDB900 DAB TUNER, TEAC UD-H01 DAC
Analogue - Pro-Ject Debut Carbon Esprit SB, Graham Slee Gram Amp 2 Phono
Cans - Grado SR80, ATH-M50X

'Serious entertainment' is a bit of an oxymoron really. But Strictly is deffo mind-numbing bollocks.

Almost with you on that slinger, though I'd not go as far to say I'd rather sandpaper my eyeballs!

I seldom watch TV, certainly no soaps or reality crap shows. Must admit that Planet Earth II is amazing though with its awesome cinematography so TV can still be good tis just a shame quality TV is rare nowadays.

I won't watch any of that reality tv show crap, but agree Planet Earth II is excellent. There is certainly a shortage of good tv nowadays but 2 that I am enjoying at present are Humans and Westworld.

I haven't voted as there isn't an option that suits me.
As a BIT of a ballroom dancer myself I do enjoy the dancing and find it mildly entertaining. I could live without the bullshit, however. So, all in all, I enjoy it but think it's run it's course really.
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC, Parasound JC3+, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)
