There are male and female plugs available, presumably they could be plugged together?

Scratch that, they wont lock.
There is a connection block available to connect 2 together but its a separate box not something that can be attached to one of the power leads

Yes, I was going to suggest the same connectors.

Type B are for outlet and type a are for inlet, they can't be mixed up. Rated at 20A, 250v

Amphenol used to make some line sockets / plugs that handled mains, there were 3 way versions and higher. Might have been from RS? MIL specification so good in the wet.

Personally, if you find some that will do the job but they are super expensive I will pay for them for mine. :grin:
