As a few of my anti dc posts mysteriously dissappered I'd thought I'd start a thread.

So here goes. I fail to see how anyone could see dc as anything but a self serving ,self promotional con artist . He contributes nothing to the forum and should be banned.

Now you have done it the correct way, not just ad hom in someones thread.

For me it is very much that the enemy of your enemy is your friend. The guy got shat on and libelled by Marco the same as I did, so he was given membership here so he could counter the lies Marco was telling about him at AoS.

Has he broken the rules?

No ad hominem
No spamming
No shilling (admin judgement)
No libel (admin judgement)
No continuous repeating of the same post or the same point within a post
No challenging an admin decision apart from by PM.

I would hope DC is allowed to stay on the forum should he wish and that the Doc is OK with that.

He has broken no rules, he is a bit full of himself, but he is a retailer what do you expect. We make allowances for lots of odd people here, including the owner

We have MCRU here as well, we are not anti retailer per-se just the rip-offs. BUT I can separate the person from the business, which others can't seem to do with me.

I would read carefully savvypaul's post,it seems to me a perfect exposition of things he as done wrong.

Well I haven't seen it or interpreted it the way it has for you. Yes some of his posts have irritated me and been borderline, but that doesn't break the rules. I tend to be much more enforcing with the rules when it is obvious someone is here to disrupt or to have goes at me, with others I am more lenient. Look how lenient I was with Jammy until it just went toooo far and had to stop as the forum was being disrupted.

I can name 20 people who have been banned for less than dc, but I guess they didn't hate marco

DQ. What has he done to upset you other than bigging up himself and his business? I don't see him as ripping people off in comparison with other retailers. If you don't like him don't buy anything from him. He used to have some decent deals and in that context I would ignore personalities. I to find some of his products unbelievably expensive but if he has rich buyers lapping them up as he claims good luck to him.

Classic I don't tell you what to think, so please for one moment don't think you understand my rational for objecting to his presence

It is everything to do with what he posts and nothing to do with what kind of person he is, which in any event is totally context dependant

Please take issue with facts, not what you think. Otherwise you'll be arguing with yourself
