As you all should be aware by now, Blind Chile is a PROG MASTERMAN and, so being, carrying the weight of wot I knows is a Herculean task.
I gots to knows more than just pwog - and proof of this is this very post.
There are genres that "fringe" on pwog.
Jazzrock ( and also fusion) is just that.
Now you also should realize by now that Blind Chile does not give away musical information lightly. Blind Chile disposes of it advantageously.
And when it comes to audio forums, rest assured that Blind Chile spills the beans only to prove how musically-ignorant audio gear fusspots are.
As we shall see.
I expect no one here can answer this question. (As a matter of fact, it's likely only 3 blokes here even KNOW wot jazzrock entails.)
Maybe Frets has an inkling, cos apparently fusion is his main interest.
But the rest of youse doan knows fook -without, naturally, googling for the answer.
So then I put it to youse guppies:
Wot was the first clear jazzrock lp? (And, no, it was not fucking Steven Wilson or Kate fucking Bush.)
A clue: released January 1966.
...............
I Don't expect youse to break a sweat.
Youse couldn't give a fig.
