MRI - I have had three of them, long process compared with CT, but I see it now as robot music, got another one end of Feb.

Re: The origionators of Industrial music?
Klaus Schulze did an 'industrial' concert called Stahlsinfonie (steel symphony) in a factory in 1980.
Working with machine operators and the sounds of the metal processing works. The whole performance was filmed and transmitted to be projected live in a concert hall.
Klaus Schulze - Stahlsinfonie
A DVD of this concert accompanies the latest remastered version of the album 'Dig-It'.

I remember this as a little kid:

perhaps not quite what you had in mind though.

The "Golem" lp by German group, SAND was '72.
But they had been around in late 60's as P.O.T.
