Richard was open to new ideas, and he was open to being proved wrong...IF he respected your knowledge and your motives.

I miss him a lot and the way he spoke his mind with no qualms. He would have been pleased NVA and HFS have continued. I 'm sure he would have contributed a lot to the DIY threads. Not sure what his thoughts would have been on the streaming threads which have developed. He did acknowledge that this was outside his comfort zone.

Nadia has sent us this wonderful photo from one of their last holidays to Cuba. 'A few rums had been downed'...

Please send my best wishes to Nadia.

This isn't one for public discussion, but I hope she's doing as well as possible, given the circumstances for her in 2019 and 2020.

Looking at that photo of Richard is bringing a tear to my eye.

Even though I don't, as a rule. drink these days, I think a glass of malt will be swallowed tonight while listening to some great sounding music, obviously.

RIP Richard.

I don't visit here often now - no disrespect intended to anyone else, just that Doc was was special.

Like Slinger, I can't believe it is a year, bugger, bugger, bugger.
