Perfectly balanced, no bullshit, great value, black & gold label. The whiskey's not bad, either.
As a train enthusiast, I think Doc would like the GNER glass...and that I half-inched it from the Chairman's drinks cabinet.

Tomorrow marks the 2nd anniversary of Richard's passing.
I'm sure that many will raise a glass (or several) to a friend, someone who made a very significant mark on the hi-fi hobby, and a man who was truly remarkable in so many respects. We (still) miss him, very much.
Here's a photo that I believe was taken on one of Richard and Nadia's trips to Cuba.
And, to give Richard a laugh...

Sorry, which ring of hell is this again?
Eighth I think. The one where you eventually have to argue with L Ron Hubbard and Richard Dunn.

Cheers to you, Richard. See you up there...

Will always be grateful to him as I was not aware that top quality no nonsence hifi not only sounds very good, but need not cost an arm and a leg. Wish I was aware of this many years sooner.

No matter what you say about him, he made bloody good hi-fi, and I'm sure, wherever his spirit is, he's happy to see the NVA marque going from strength to strength. Rest easy, Richard. You earned it.

Time is a great healer.
I've been missing Richard less this year than I was the year before.
Within 100 years everyone that uses this forum now will be dead. Which in one way is a depressing thought. And in another is very uplifting. Because we're still here and every day that we are alive is a wonderful miraculous gift. It's down to each of us what we do with this gift each day...
