Re: Happy Birthday to you....
Birthday was sad, my family forgot , Maria family made me feel great.
Had a great few day at Westward Ho with in-laws and new baby Lo, fell on cobble stones at Dunster smashed knee and cracked jaw, yikes it hurt.
And about to go to Italy for 2 wks with Sam and Maria as a birthday treat, can't wait.
Thanks guys are you all well?
Oh any ideas about kits for Hi-fi Answers would be most welcome but not Digital Lies please no, ok ON / OFF switch can be used .
Best to you all big hug

Happy birthday Colin.
.
I tell my wife , neuroplasticity only works when you are the edge of your current capabilities and there is always a risk of falling. However if you are not at the edge of what you can do , you will never get better
It keeps her silent , especially during our frequent trips to a&e

Had a probe removed a few week ago, the tiny Indian Lady Doctor had to stand on a box, and the local wore of before she removed it from my ribs, ouch it hurt but she was smashing, see her again next month to fit a new one.
The probe calls the hospital when the ticker parameters change and if I push to hard I get a phone call and she says stop and rest.
Any way can't wait for weds of to Italy to see historic sites and have real coffee and Ice Cream
Take care dear friend get better every day.
Best Col

Re: Happy Birthday to you....
My late wife had a monitor, built into her pacemaker. She had a home testing machine too, which plugged into a phone socket and uploaded data from the pacemaker to the team at The Royal Brompton.Wonfor14 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 05, 2023 8:59 amDan, keep at it A&E here is a 10 - 20hr wait, thank God Barts see me at a moments warning.Daniel Quinn wrote: ↑Mon Sep 04, 2023 6:28 pm Happy birthday Colin.

Every once in a while she'd get the "How are you feeling, Jeanette, can you run a test for us?" phone call. Her pacemaker also had a built-in defibrillator, rigged to shock her if it detected dangerous rhythms or cardiac arrest, and I can tell you having been there when that happened it dished out quite a belt.
Have a good holiday, mate, all of you.

Have a good one, Mark. This is only a rumour, but I've heard Paul may allow you a 10-minute tea break this afternoon to celebrate.
