On the edge of no return. Yes, absolutely, the human race needs to see itself as children of the universe in order to tackle the big issues ( to paraphrase Richard Feynman) but now we have rabid populism politics and right wing reactionary xenophobia. Trump, Johnson et al and all their supporters can go to hell, condemning the rest of us and our offspring as well.Daniel Quinn wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 8:36 am Well we're fucked then, those in a position to help ignore the situation.
Presenting the problem as one of individual action is bollocks.

Re: Bloody weather
Bloody cold today although I have been in and out all day. Now sat at home and this is my view (obligatory foot and mug of tea shot).

Re: Bloody weather
Have you guys thought about getting a stove fan, to distribute the heat a bit better?

Very interesting that, Lindsay.
I'll have to see if that is available in The Netherlands.

Re: Bloody weather
I've got an eco fan but stopped using it as we thought it was distributing ash throughout the room. It did help with the heat a bit but I don't really miss it.Lindsayt wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 7:34 pm Have you guys thought about getting a stove fan, to distribute the heat a bit better?
