Re: Bloody weather
If a fire broke out in your pile, that extinguisher would be totally capable of putting it all out.

Re: Bloody weather
Not a hope probably. We have old crop sprayer permanently filled with water for such events.
Saying that many farmers in t'olden days would have been chucking stuff on

Re: Bloody weather
The temperature rose a bit late this afternoon . Good riddance sub zero temperatures. Get the shorts on boys, it's gonna be 13 degrees on Monday

Re: Bloody weather
I go walking two mornings a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) in most conditions (not in pouring rain) and always wear shorts. Coldest start so far was -6C last week.
Am I hardy, or daft ?

Re: Bloody weather
As they say in Norway (or is it Finland?):
There's no such thing as bad weather. Only bad clothing.
Re: Bloody weather
Rest assured, although I wear shorts in freezing conditions, the rest of me is well togged up.

Re: Bloody weather
Have not worn shorts for a walk since early October. Have been very well wrapped up lately and prefer the frozen ground to mud. Only rain and the extreme heat we had in the summer stops me.
