Hana cartridges
What is the general consensus here? Are these cartridges as good as people are waxing lyrical about?

Re: Hana cartridges
I doubt it.
They look ordinary. They stylus and cantilever look rudimentary (not everybody is obsessed with this)
However, I note they have brought out a top of the range model, which surprise surprise as a boron cantilever and fine line diamond.so even they admit these are factors which make a better cartridge. This however is at a price.
My opinion is that each model is overpriced for what it is.

Re: Hana cartridges
Interesting. I have one of Vinyl Ant's Lenco's on trial at the moment (in lieu of mine being finished) which is equipped with a Hana ML. It's a decent cartridge but I don't think it's going to supplant my 25 year old Goldring Excel GS in my affections, which I love.

Re: Hana cartridges
Sadly cartridges are one of the devices that can't be borrowed sale or return. A shame really as a grand is a grand whether it be a cdp, TT phono stage or a cartridge. Having watched a Youtube video about the manufacturers of this cartridge i was put off a little. Much safer with the larger and well established companies backed by greater resources. I would still like to hear one to make me part with that sort of cash. Some people talk about a thousand pound like it wasn't a lot of money when in fact in the big scheme of things it is.
