Crabbies ginger beer. Fancied something a bit different.

The secret to a 'Mozzie' free summer. Badger (of course) do a beer called 'The Blandford Fly' with a bit of ginger in it, brewed for fishermen to keep them pesky little blighters away.

The changing of the clocks does not only mean I let the wife put the heating on, but I generally move from beer to spirits, As a long life fan of single malt I always have two or three bottles on the go so for me its Old Pulteney, Penderyn and Bunnahabhain at the mo.

Tonight it will be jamesons Irish whiskey. It makes me feel like a member of the new York police in the wire, it tastes lovely and for some reason I can't explain, its a brilliant pain killer for neurological pain. So much better than the medication they prescribe.

Only problem is, it's a weekend treatment only.

I'm on the non-alcoholic wheat beer from Lidl. 69p for a 500ml bottle. This and Erdinger 'blue'are by far the best 0% beers I've tried.
