A couple of things I will be watching or recording tonight

Elvis -the rebirth of the king on BBC4 9.05 pm. About his Las Vegas comeback  For simple minds
Ghost Stories BBC2 12.15 am
Wurzel Gummidge 5.55pm. Not as good as the original but you have to take what you can get these days
Doctor Who of course

I've dug out an old Radio Times Christmas edition from 1998. I suspect it will be reasonably accurate.

We don't even get Doctor Who on Christmas Day now. 5 STAR are showing a Dustin Hoffman movie. "Outbreak". That should be cheery.

Looking forward to the programme about Bruce Dickinson's hair raising trip to war torn Sarijavo. Quite a bit about it in his excellent autobiograpy. Also a good programme on about the life of Ozzy Osbourne. That is about it apart from footy and racing.

Ah, but the original didn't have the Unthanks. I think it shows promise but maybe I'll get bored of it.

I enjoyed Wurzel Gummidge. The thing I remember about the Pertwee Gummidge is trying to guess which way he would fall over right at the end of the titles.
