I've just had a quick Google and it seems the accounts will work for a while and then fail, so he sends you a new account, which will work for a while and then fail, so he... etc. I'm only guessing, but I would imagine that after he's made a set amount of money he'll just disappear and set up again under a new user name.

Apparently, Tidal accounts are going for $1.00 on the dark web.

Most family plans for music servers are for 6 people- I would only require 4 accounts so in theory I could ‘sell’ 2 accounts- would that be legal!

Do you get a lifetime membership for your dollar?

Eg by a lifetime's supply of emails supplying new accounts when the old ones expire?

Might be 'hacked' accounts where you get access without the real owner knowing it.
Useable until they change their password.

Netflix is already taking measures to stop acounts being 'shared'.
