I am designing this evil baby for use on Pearl Acoustic Speaker in Belgium. https://pearlacoustics.com/

They have had two prototype and now it is time to start on the real toy.

Harley and Ajay seem a nice set guys Harley is Belgium side but Ajay runs the UK side.
Went to Ajay home a Ealing Common , had a listen to no2 the Holographic image from the speakers was amazing.
It felt you could walk through the Orchestra and join in playing the harmonica along with Mozart and his band.

It was fun to do, the transformers are ordered, 4 winding on secondary at 24V each, uMetal shielded , electrostatic shield and potted (no shrimp) .
Used ITW Paktron Stick caps and 4 of 47,000uF a channel https://paktron.com/

Got the DC blocker to work with up to plus or minus 16VDC on the mains with the double Common Mode choke filter working well at last, with 10mH at 8Amp..
The auto start is set at the moment to activate the beast when a 5mV+ signal turns up on Balance or RCA and the input auto system works to yippee and no Digital Lies anywhere.
Oh forgot the DC Blocker has indicators that turn on with DC levels of 2V and above one for the positive phase and the same for the negative phase.

So lets hope it sound nice and not to clinical or shall we say Brysdon Bright.

Take care guys.

Now where are the tissues.

Sounds mega Colin.

You need to go teach some how to build a proper amplifier

I loved to, and did a bit in the long gone past on PSU designs and solar stuff, and a bit on explosives, a long time ago now.

And on sub 10Hz detection for seismic anomalies. What fun that was.

The trouble now is the stroke will not allow me to stand for a long time and some words I still can't speak , so I get flustered and angry with myself. A bloody pain. :angelic-cyan:

I have got Quickie and IanR building one each I hope they like them.
Now to design a non digital IR control using old fashion tone burst ideas. But no digital noises and pop and interference , mmmm nice.

Sound like the perfect ingredients for an amp:

Loads of power
Earth-shaking bass
Dynamite dynamics
AND environmentally conscious
