HiFi Subjectivist ¦ Audio Forum ¦ NVA User Group

I've now structured my work to leave most Fridays free. If anyone fancies calling in here, just west of Durham, to hear the latest NVA amps, Cubes etc, bring me some new (to me) music to listen to, chew the cud and put the world to rights, then just PM me (or email: mail@hfsaudio.co.uk) a day or so beforehand. An enthusiast get-together, bring some tunes, bring some of your own kit, I'll put the kettle on and make a few sarnies, Scooby will hoover up the crumbs.

Hope to see a few of you guys, every now and then.

It's not a sales pitch, just a get together. When I took on NVA, it was partly because I wanted to have the perfect excuse to spend more time chilling on the sofa listening to music. Now that we have a bit more 'freedom', it would be cool to meet a few more of you.

A great pleasure to see Toontrev again, today. Very enjoyable few hours swapping new finds both vinyl and streaming. Trev - you need to post your playlist on the forum. Loving my Freedom Fridays!!

As promised, didn't play all the tracks but a fair few of them.

Paul's set up does sound really good and it was pretty good before all the latest updates. If you get the chance do have a listen, Id like to thank Paul for a very enjoyable afternoon although had a bit of brain freeze/senior moment trying to cable up a vintage amp I brought along!

Enjoyed a couple of hours with NVA Facebook follower, Tony, today. After hearing (and seeing) the 401 and the Lenco, and the Cubes, he decided he needs to get a new plinth and a service for his Thorens (he's contacting Vinyl-Ant) and something to replace his KEF speakers. I hope to see him on the forum, too.

Tony bought along some familiar LPs to play; Nina Simone, Santana...but this was a new one on me:







I'm away next week, but the 'hard work' will resume on Friday the 5th...
