Thanks for all the good wishes. I'm now completely blocked up with snot and feeling like shit but I've had worse. This is a walk in the park compared to glandular fever in my early 20's. I was in bed for two weeks with that mutha and hardly any food. I was far from over weight at the time and looked like skeletor at the end of that.

I am currently nursing a large whiskey hoping it will fight the covoids off .

On waking up this morning my covid symptoms have got worse but that's all it is for me so far, a bad cold. I do have a bad headache but that is probably down to too much single malt last night. I haven't had any whiskey for a long time and now I remember why. Not that I drink like I used to but being pissed on whiskey is like a warm glow where I want to hug everybody. Drunk on lager and I want to batter everybody.

Don't be scared of the covids, be brave but don't visit your frail mother. I haven't been in the same room as mine for a few weeks since this Omicron kicked off. Her carers do a good job and I wouldn't be able to live with myself if she caught covids off me and suffered.

My kids (11 & 8) have been getting noticeably more excited as this week has passed. Today is going to be unbearable.,I will be scraping them off the ceiling by tea time. Got to love em though, every time they tell me I love you Daddy my heart melts. I want their memories of childhood to be nothing but happy just like mine.
