So who here has heard these little miracles ? The more I hear about these the more I think they are the answer to ALL our dreams. Fook this diy lark I have found the answer to my prayers. If so many say they are the ultimate speaker then they must be, right ?

Yes. No low bass, no dynamics, good sense of space. Something odd going on in the lower treble, probably cabinet induced.

From what I remember from when they first came out they were designed by BBC engineers specifically for use in mobile recording vans. Hence the small size and good voice recording.

A speaker designed for a specific purpose, which the fulfil rather well, but entirely unsustainable for anything else.
