You never know.

I have been the sole bidder on a couple of Grado cartridges and got them both for a very low price.

Would be nice.

This looks like a very early example btw as made in Peterborough, so probably pre 1985

You could be right about this being a very early NVA model, most integrateds that I can see photos of have the control knobs front left, opposite the input sockets.
This amp has knobs front right and the whole setup is reversed.

All the bolt up integrateds I have seen used the pcb from the pre amps which had the volume/source selector/phono sockets/din soldered directly to it, so not hardwired like in later amps.

Also had the phono stage (if fitted) on there too.

This was fitted to the bottom right of the case, with the power amp pcb above it to the centre, with toroid on the left.

Since I rediscovered vinyl (only a year ago - feels like a decade) my 1985-vintage NVA phono preamp has been in daily use, sounding awesome with a low-output Grado MCX from the same era. I do, as well, have the external PSU that drives the phono board.

RD's original phono stage design was praised back then in the heyday of analogue and the amp here on sale should have that same board.

I see that you are still the only bidder - good luck with that.
We'll keep it a secret here, just between ourselves.

:shhh:
