How lucky have England been with the draw in this competition?

They had the easiest group. And now they're on the easy side of the draw.

All they need is more luck in the form of some rain. Because England don't play well in the heat. Never have done. Probably never will.
If it stays hot, England have almost no chance of winning the Euros.

Having played only 129 minutes over the three group games, the England player who has created the most chances is STILL Trent Alexander-Arnold.

By half time today, Trent had the same number of...

Crosses
Dribbles
Long balls
and Box touches
as Conor Gallagher.

Trent, of course, was sitting on the bench for those 45 minutes.

Slovakia, followed by Switzerland or Italy, followed by Romania or Netherlands or Austria or Turkey.

You can't get an easier series of matches than that at a major tournament.

Ouch, that's harsh..
I don't watch football, but I'm 'enjoying' the parallels between the Euros and the Election. Both it seems make for utterly dismal TV, and both remove the will to live.
What was it Smith said in 1984, we keep control the proles with beer, football & gambling. Well the footie's fucked but at least Rishi's got the gambling covered.
