A sudden loss.

Guys,

I might be offline for a while. My wife had a stroke in the night and passed away, without suffering, this afternoon.

Her condition with progressive Alzheimer's was slowly worsening - so perhaps this is a blessing in disguise.

My thoughts are that if I can't (at least offer to) be there for my forum mates at a time like this, when can I be there?

I can't make her come back. But - maybe, depending on a few ifs and buts - I could be there for her funeral.
