Re: NVA amps with passive preamps
"but will work OK with active pre-amps or direct feed from a DAC"
So that OK does not mean that can be used with active circuits? Maybe the meaning is it is possible but not advised?
Thanxs

NVA amps with passive preamps
My A30MKii is actually connected to a active line stage of classic design. I plann in future to try a passive and possibly order a NVA. Some friends DIY could lend me a couple of passive preamps based on the nelson pass B1 buffer passive pre and DCB1 again passive but DC coupled. In my full ignoranc...

SSC vs SSP mk1
Dear all, just acquired on sale SSP mk1 interconnect. I already have a SSC and would like to be suggested which one to choose for CD to preamp and for phono stage to preamp. I can find my way of testing if you can indicate the major differences between the two in terms of details, nuances and tone d...

My 97db sensible speakers don't need more power than A30mkii
I wonder when my upgrade path is better off upgrading cables or upgrade to a mono set amps. Actual cables are Ls1 and a SSC ic and my speakers are not missing bottom end.
PS I don't feel mature enough to drop my electrocompaniet active pre , for a Nva pre yet. Sorry.
Thanx

nva power Amp positioning
Dear all, read somewhere that due to its chassis they might be better positioned off thè rack, to not be in others gear proximity. Right? I can do that but need a 1.5 meter interconnect. As i planned to order one Nva cable, thè question trigger my attention. Again it's probably a compromise between ...
