Re: Visit to NVA Towers
Fuck fuck fuck. Just played one of my favourite openings to an album Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone. Actually played it 6 times, 3 on the Cube and 3 on the Concept 20's. Thanks Doc you've now ruined all future listening with other speakers, cheers! I think the big difference is that with norm...

Re: Visit to NVA Towers
I need a few hours to try and make sense and write something decent, but wanted a quick note on this thread. The Cube 3's have just taken a gigantic poop on my Q Acoustics Concept 20's. It's night and day. Now I know the Concept 20's are a What Hi-Fi special but I got them because they were the best...

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
I know the CD player for £600 isn't a statement one (but you are offering the option), but just looked again at the The Emotive Statement CD player in the archive. I have to say it's a cracking looking bit of kit. I love the 3 separate parts and how they are isolated from each other. Can't have been...

Re: Visit to NVA Towers
It sounded terrific, could have easily sat listening all day.
Looking to buy a Sara K album or two on HD Download, I also have Cubes, TIS and BMU in my long-term shopping basket.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
If I wanted a CD player I'd buy one...but then I'd probably buy a NVA chocolate tea pot if you said it would be good based on the sound I heard today.

Re: New!!!!! NVA CD players
I think most people are just interested in the specs, like when you look at other players they list out specs including what DAC chip the player uses, look at the Cambridge Audio website for example. I doubt the specs are valid from the donor player once the doc has done his magic and most specs are...

Visit to NVA Towers
I popped into NVA Towers to see the Doc earlier. As I walked into his new work room I instantly saw the lovely looking Cube 3 speakers on stands and the Doc put some music on straight away. He started with an artist and CD which I believe other visitors have mentioned Sara K, 'Made In The Shade' I t...
