Having had another look last night I came no further than the 2 players I had already found.
Both have blu-ray, slot load and analogue audio out. Available for under 180 pounds.

Vizio VBR337 - with 24bit/192KHz DAC. is a budget unit but has received very good reviews for its picture and sound quality.
Panasonic BDT320 - 32bit/192KHz DAC. Affordable, mid-price player from a company with a solid reputation.

Upstairs:
Vinyl
Pro-Ject 1.2 + Grado Sig Jr + Cambridge Alva Duo
DigiVolumio PC + Kiss DP-500 + Sabaj A20d
NVA: Cube2 - SSP - LS6+ Sabaj A10a {x2)
Little Bear MC2 + AQ NightHawk
Downstairs:
Vinyl
Logic DM101 + Syrinx LE1 + Grado Sig MCX
DigiDenafrips Ares II + Volumio PC + Cambridge CXC

Not possible unless a crap DAC. Double the price and you can have SACD and streaming.

Your opinion and you are not building them or buying one.

At over £180 then the final unit will be over £600. As anyone with any knowledge will tell you mass produced electronics is cheap, good power supplies are expensive. Don't try to teach you Grandfather  how to suck eggs (I wonder where that expression came from).

Think he's just saying that there doesn't seem to be any DVD players with decent DACs and analogue outputs, so because of that no matter how great the power supply you build or the other mods it's going to be limited by the DAC and players specs.

The Onkyo and Tascam are pure CDP's and they seem to have good doc chips and ok transports.

Guess it's a bit like taking a Kia Picanto (shit car) it doesn't matter how much you upgrade the suspension, battery, exhaust and tune up the engine at the end of the day it's still a Kia Picanto so shit engine. That analogy makes sense in my head anyway and I'm not saying what you'd build would be shit....oh jeez this sounds bad now.

Hopefully everyone gets what I mean.
My Kit – I moved to home theatre setup sorry...Denon SR7011, Anthony Gallo A'Diva SE Fronts, SpeakerCraft Profile AIM LCR3 One Rears, BK Electronics XLS200-DF MK2 Sub, Epson Projection.

But I would love a cheeky little AP10, AP20 sort of amp for a bedroom setup...

It is nothing like that and I wished I hadn't entered into this discussion, or asked for people to look.

As I said right at the very beginning, you have two choices 1/ trust in me that I know what I am doing as I have done it before, and go on the list 2/ or don't go on the list if the previous doesn't apply. And now choice # 3/ if you want to tell me how to do my job then just piss off!

All this talk of crap dacs, with zero understanding of what makes them good or bad.

The discussion on this thread about donor dacs is absurd , its analogous to people criticising the quality of sperm I used to make baby DQ .

edit- And before the pedants start , yes I know it was a joint effort
