Always makes me laugh when they say stuff like "a few marks but that comes with age", fuk does it, they come from neglect!
Audio Grail "Sable" Garrard 401 with Cumbrian Green Slate plinth / Audiomods 6 / Soundsmith Zephyr MIMC, Parasound JC3+, NVA INT400sa. (Oh and a Copland CDA823 CD Player, for when I fancy a bit of the devil's spawn!)

True, as long as they work fine, I'm happy. I'm tempted to bid on them. I'm just not prepared to wait for Doublets at the moment.

Re: Another Minstrel.
A silly question to be asking here...Sorry! Need to get this anxiety out of me!
My Exposure XV Integrated amplifier, the normal version at around 35-40W. Does the Minstrel demand a more powerful amp than the XV? Will the Exposure XV be OK driving the Minstrels at medium volume levels?

Forgot to ask, when are you planning to visit Southall? Southall can be like Naim sometimes

Shame, Doc. Maybe someday you might visit Southall (aka ''little India'')

Shane , I had a set of Minstrels hooked up to my AP20 amp and never got above 50% on the volume control . Seemed to be a very easy load IMO . Very musical little speakers.southall-1998 wrote:A silly question to be asking here...Sorry! Need to get this anxiety out of me!
