Aye but all the valves I've dropped and smashed would work again.Dr Bunsen Honeydew wrote: a pair of speakers on the moon would be as much use as a humidifier would be at the bottom of a swimming pool. The moon has no air

Re: CUBIX PRO
Power supply built and tested and the tweeter fitted to the case. Amp module will be fitted tomorrow and check the amp module surrounds and fit blocking plates to ensure the case is airtight, then I have to wait for the glue to go off on all that. So a day left to one side for all to dry. So I should have it completed and fired up by Tuesday evening. Then I go away for a week, so I will have the fun of it when I get back.
So any time after the 23rd anyone wants to come and have a listen just let me know.

EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I was so close to getting the second speaker running I rushed and didn't double check myself. I stupidly connected the positive rail of the input / driver stage power supply to the earth bus. Switch on and three small capacitor go off like fireworks inside the speaker it has wrecked the PCB so I have stripped it out but I am not rushing again I will take my time fitting the new one - we learn as we go along
