I don't follow football and haven't done since my early 20s. As a kid and a teen, I used to support Spurs because in the 80s they played incredible football, a bit like the first Keegan term Newcastle.
I used to have to go to Sunderland to watch Spurs when they came North, because Newcastle were in the old 2nd division back then.
Who do you support...!!!

Having spent the afternoon watching Scotland winning(shock I know, but it was rugby), I support them and Edinburgh but should really support Dunfermline Athletic, but they are a football team and that's not a sport? I subscribe to.

Re: Who do you support...!!!
The players swop between clubs regularly so it doesn't make a lot of sense for me to support a club. The highest bidding clubs get the best players, surprise surprise they tend to win. I have a small interest in what happens at Arsenal but mainly I like cycling (with all its problems!).

I think one would be treated fairer with the adove 3 Monkeys than the "3 blind mice" over at TAZzzz.

I can take or leave the footie really. My wife's cousin has a corporate box at St James Park so we get the odd invite to watch the Toon and I always enjoy that when I go but it is a freebie and I can't ever see me parting with money to watch it.
Growing up we used to regularly go to watch Newcastle when it was just a few quid in for us kids, seeing the young Paul Gascoigne at his best was some of the best football I ever saw. I rarely see anyone with that kind of passion for the game these days.
Dad was a mackem, Sunderland through and through... always sided with the underdog he did.
