Mouse mat.
Not something you generally think about, they're two-a-penny I know. However, spend a tiny little bit of dosh and you can get one that will last you years and like any good component you'll forget you've got it...until you have to use one of those foam -rubber abominations again. I've just replaced mine after 8 or 10 years and there wasn't really much wrong with it other than the odd cigarette burn from when I used to smoke. It's bigger than a "standard" mat, and a bloody site heavier. This one will NOT slip around your desk. The wife bought me mine, and I still maintain it's one of the best presents she's ever bought me.
Treat yourself and you'll wonder why you ever used those cheap mats that curl up at the edges.

They don't work too well on glass table tops!Daniel Quinn wrote:Get a infa red mouse and you do not need a mat.

Re: Mouse mat.
I remember reading that they are made of the same material as they make dry suits for divers out of. The person who wrote this claimed that rather than pay what he felt was a rather over the top price for a shop bought mouse mat he'd instead go to a diving shop, where they made the suits, and get an off cut. "How much do you want?" "About a foot square." " What do you want it for?" "For my mouse!"

Re: Mouse mat.
For perfect stability and a guaranteed no-slip solution surely at least 15 Mana tables are required ??
