I have never experienced war, but I have an opinion on it.
I don't think that is a suitable retort.
There is thousands of years of history about war from all over the world to refer to, and ones personal experiences to bear in mind.
I too would refrain from commenting about the actual performance of a device I had no experience of.
A comment like " I can't understand how it works" would be OK.
No-one here is the arbiter of who can and who cannot express an opinion. You can pick an opinion apart, if you feel the need, but you cannot stop it being expressed.
In any case, DQ is (I believe) expressing his opinion of the reviews / marketing of Houdini, to date. He hasn't commented on the performance of the product.

Indeed, but the danger of derogatory opinions applied to the actual performance of unheard items is that one's opinions on other items could possibly carry less weight.
If someone who ran a Hi-fi forum dissed NVA equipment without hearing it would you be happy ?
All I am saying is simply this. It seems to be that you were quite happy to accept one review and yet deride another before it has been made with tactless emojis and implied comments from the same source. Please explain why? I may or may not have "experienced war" and yet have an opinion on it. Bear in mind I'm well into my 70s now and either way I cant see the comparison. However I seem to see a disparity here and would prefer that you address that
This is not in reference to DQ comment.

If they posted that they didn't like the sound of it but admitted that they had never heard it...then I think I would laugh. If they said they didn't like the look of it based on what they saw and what they read...then I think I would shrug my shoulders, maybe ask a few questions. I couldn't stop them having an opinion, regardless of how much or how little knowledge they had of the product. Indeed, hi-fi forums are tightly populated with people who have never designed any hi-fi equipment but have deep seated opinions on how it should be designed and constructed. That's the internet, for you. Not worth worrying about. I know that NVA is bloody good, at a bloody good price for a commercial product with full service and warranty.

I haven't got a clue what you are on about. I have not commented on a Houdini review.

"Never Designed hifi" rings a bell. I think everyone here believes NVA "is bloody good" However I don't think that was the point of my post. Platitudes no matter how ever good do not answer the question. As for "knowledge" a wise man once said "your room your ears" and backed it up with a no quibble return basis as you do. Much the same as houdini I believe? Yes it is a condition of the internet, don't panic As for not having a clue, read the post, never said you read a review (god forbid)

Sorry, I don't have a fucking clue what you are going on about.
Perhaps you could cut out the incomprehensible asides and compose your post in a way that would make it readable?

You were very happy to inform everyone of Rabaskis glowing review of Nva on WAM.
You were happy to imply your thoughts about a forthcoming review (IMO) on WAM. Ad-hominem removed - first warning Nva is bloody good. Absolutely
